Choosing

Which first aid course do I need?

Most people arrive knowing the outcome they need rather than the qualification title. Start from the situation.

Emergency First Aid at Work

Your risk assessment says one or two trained first aiders is enough cover.

First Aid at Work

Higher-risk premises, or you need proper cover across a larger team.

Annual first aid refresher

You already hold First Aid at Work and want to stay sharp between three-yearly requalification.

CPR and AED

You have a defibrillator on site and need people confident enough to use it.

FREC 3

You respond to emergencies before the ambulance arrives, at events or in the community, and need more than workplace first aid.

FREC 4

You already hold FREC 3 and want the deeper clinical assessment and observations expected in ambulance and event medical roles.

SALM — coming soon

You hold FREC 4 and your role means you may need to give lifesaving medicines such as adrenaline, naloxone or salbutamol.

Why train with us

Competence, not just a certificate.

Learners are encouraged to participate, practise and apply their skills in realistic scenarios, so they are prepared for the real thing.

Practical

Hands-on training designed to develop genuine ability, not to get a room through a slide deck.

Scenario led

Sessions built around incidents we have actually attended, taught by the people who attended them.

Independently checked

Delivery and assessment decisions are sampled by internal quality assurance, and the centre is audited externally by the awarding organisation.

Named trainers

Every course is delivered by a named trainer, qualified both clinically and to teach, whose work is checked by someone other than themselves.

Training several people at once?

We deliver group training at your workplace or a venue of your choice — practical and cost-effective when you need to train a team rather than an individual.

Get in touch

Not sure which course you need?

Tell us who needs training, how many of them, and what your risk assessment says. We will point you at the right qualification — including telling you if you need less than you thought.

This is not an emergency service. If someone is seriously ill or injured, call 999. For urgent non-emergency medical advice, call NHS 111.
